What I Enjoyed
This website is my personal tumblr page. I have had it for years and have built a following on my strong eye for aesthetics.
I also have had a personal hand in coding a few of the easier elements of this page.I really love how everything flows together.
I'm also a big fan of the minimalistic approach I took with choosing the theme of my page. I know aesthetics are a subjective topic,
but I feel like I have achieved something that is pleasing to most eyes.
- The design of the website is visually appealing.
- The minimalistic aesthetic of the website is very well done.
- The way you scroll through the website is very nice, it lets each image soak up all of the viewer's attention.
- I apprecaite the fact that I had a personal hand in how I wanted my tumblr page to look like.
Not all websites are perfect.
While I may feel the website is aesthetically pleasing, I can see how to others it falls short.
Some references from the pictures are lost in translation. From a design persepective I can also see how some might find the minimalist approach to be boring.
I have also been told navigating through it is not easy or intutitive.There is also a lot of blank space left within the website.
- The scroll feature implemented in is not intutive and can sometimes take others a while to figure it out, but in that time they might already leave due to the not so obvious method of scrolling.
- Some people find minimlism boring.
- The negative space can leave a lot to be desired.
- I could probably do a lot more with the page.
